The preparation for this year's edition of the Effie Hellas 2014 has already started thanks to the organizing committee, chaired by James Nass, CEO of Lowe Athens. The ceremony will take place Thursday, July 17. According to James Nass, «the work of people in marketing and communications in today's Greece is undertaken under some of the most difficult conditions in the world market. Increasing sales opportunities and delivering tangible results in a rapidly declining market, is much more difficult than in other foreign markets. That’s why the Greek Effies are the most demanding Effies in the world– where effectiveness has even greater value because it is even harder to achieve.  The Organizing Committee involves experienced marketing executives: John Gabrielides, Senior Director of Brand, Marketing and On-Line Strategy Wind, Effie Karakitsou, CEO of Magnet, Panos Condopoulos, Managing Director Wedia, Marina Leonidhopoulos, President Out of the Box, Elias Mavidis, Business Unit Director Bold Ogilvy, Costas Rokos, Managing Director & CFO, Greece IPG Mediabrands, Evi S esame, Director Cream and Costas Stratis, Commercial Director Dixons South- Eastern Europe. The submission of entries will begin Monday, March 31 and will end on May 16.
